The conversation has slowly been ongoing for about a month. If a formal de-adminship discussion is to be had at the appropriate venue, a bureaucrat closing the discussion at ANU seems to be warranted, particularly after Commons:Administrators/Requests/Kallerna (de-adminship) was closed quickly as not having attained the relevant consensus to open it. For these reasons, I am requesting that a bureaucrat close the discussion on the noticeboard. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 05:13, 5 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The procedure says a bureaucrat shall close a premature de-admin request as inadmissible if there is no prior discussion which led to some censensus for de-admin. This was the case in Commons:Administrators/Requests/Kallerna (de-adminship).
Currently it appears obvious to me that there is some consensus for holding a deadmin discussion/vote. I think there is no rule that the de-admin vote shall be opened or the ANU discussion shall be closed by a bureaucrat. --Krd 09:21, 5 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
